On Friday, U. S. District Judge Donald Molloy issued a decision saying the Montana's medical Marijuana law does not shield medical marijuana providers from federal prosecution. The decision delivers another serious blow to an industry that has virtually disappeared from Montana storefronts. I spoke with a representative of the Montana Cannabis Industry Association, Chris Lindsey on Monday morning. That interview is attached.

Molloy states that even if providers are abiding by all state laws, they can still face federal prosecution because marijuana remains a schedule one illegal drug.
