The preliminary injunction sought by Stand Up Montana and several other plaintiffs against the Missoula County School District was denied on Friday after noon by District Court Judge Jason Marks.

The complete ruling is attached below.

Judge Marks cited the rapidly increasing case numbers of COVID 19 reported by the Missoula City County Health Department, as well as several legal issues with the request for a preliminary injunction itself.

The hearing was held Wednesday before Judge Marks.

Missoula County Public School students will continue to be required to be masked while on school grounds.
