Amber Alert

The body of one year-old Kenzey Ava-Leann Olson was found on Wednesday afternoon after being the subject of a multi-state Amber Alert investigation. One person is in custody, but no charges have yet been filed.

After a search that began on Tuesday afternoon, Roosevelt County Sheriff's Office officials, along with the FBI and Fort Peck Reservation Police, confirmed that the body of Kenzley Ava-LeAnn Olson was found on Wednesday in Poplar.

Cody Marble of Missoula will be released from prison after spending 14 years behind bars for a crime he did not commit.

The body of Kenzley Ava-LeAnn Olson, a 1 year old Native American female child was found in Poplar early on Wednesday afternoon. Public Information Officer Lee Allmer said one person is being questioned, but no charges have yet been filed. The FBI and Fort Peck Tribal police, along with the Roosevelt County Sheriff's Office are all investigating the child's death.

A four year-old child, the subject of a statewide Amber Alert on Friday night, was found safe on Sunday morning. Suspect was arrested on Saturday.

The tiny reservation community of Wolf Point, Montana, was the focus of hundreds of thousands of prayers and social media messages nationwide over the weekend, following the abduction and subsequent Amber Alert for four year-old Maci Lilley.

A 4 year old Native American female child was last seen playing in a park in Wolf Point Montana at approximately 9 pm on  Friday, February 26, when friends saw a male take her and flee on foot.

Jan. 13 is Amber Alert Awareness Day.

Despite the many advisories and bulletins issued about missing or endangered persons in 2015, there were only two actual Amber Alerts, and both involved missing infants.

The search for William George Ground has been called off. He was found safe on Wednesday evening.
