With gas well under two dollars per gallon and dropping another four cents over the past week, Gasbuddy.com Petroleum Analyst Patrick Dehaan says Montana’s falling prices may end soon.
A decision by the Organization for Petroleum Exporting Countries, or OPEC, to keep oil production at its current pace has caused fuel prices around the world to decline.
National Gas prices are now at their lowest point in over four years, but Montana seems to be lagging behind.

Surprise, surprise. Gas prices in Montana went up again this past week and look like they will continue to do so in the near future. Montana is still beating the rest of the country with the lowest average price.
Gas prices in Montana continue to climb through mid-March, however, there is hope that a shift in oil prices may keep prices from climbing too much in the near future.
