The Missoula County United Way will be hosting a special celebration of the Dolly Parton Imagination Library’s 250,000th book this Saturday at the Missoula Public Library.

There are predictions that up to 32,000 new residents may be moving into the Missoula area between now and the year 2040 and various organizations are looking at how that will affect housing availability and affordability at a meeting this week.
The site for the new public library is prepared and waiting for the groundbreaking in late July or early August, according to Karl Olson with the Foundation for the Missoula Public Library.
