Who's going to be in Vegas for the NFR? We'll be there, and we're looking forward to catching up with any Montanans who will be in the house for Cowboy Christmas and the National Finals Rodeo (NFR).

Forrie Smith, who plays the ranch-hand "Lloyd" in the hit TV show "Yellowstone", doesn't just a cowboy on TV- he's a cowboy in real life who grew up in Montana. And if you want to meet him in Montana- now is your chance.

Here's another great reason to get out to the Big Timber Weekly Pro Rodeo- Wednesday, August 4th and Wednesday, August 11th the proceeds from all of the concessions sales and other donations will go towards local Shriners to help with the children's hospital.

The team came away with the national title as a team, along with several big victories at the individual level- including Paige Rasmussen who was named the "Women's All Around Champion."

He's number 3 in the world, and when it comes to Montana's Bitterroot Valley, he's a local boy. Professional bareback rider Richard Champion will be back in Darby this weekend for the "Riggin' Rally" at the Darby Rodeo Arena. Wally Badgett brought some rodeo greats on to our LIVE show. He also shared some great Buckin Horse Sale stories. The best story he shared, was about something that DIDN'T happen- the crowd was stunned.

Why is Flint Rasmussen so sure that the bull riders will stand up for the national anthem? Because rodeo represents the greatness of America, the real West that thankfully still exists, and these riders love America.
