There’s a load of history in the Western Montana Fair’s Commercial Building, and that history will continue into the future with a $2 million remodel just completed in time for the ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday.
In addition to carnival rides, the rodeo, food and music, the 2019 Western Montana Fair is also ‘going green’, as well as taking important steps to honor missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls.
The 2018 Western Montana Fair did not reach the heights in attendance or revenue of the 2017 fair, but county officials are still very pleased with the results.
The Western Montana Fair kicks off this Tuesday, August 7, in Missoula and the biggest news for the public is that there will be no entry fee to enter this year.
