Weekend Road-trip for a Good Cause: The 2017 Glacier Challenge
This weekend a perfect road trip for a good cause is just a couple hours from us. The 2017 Glacier Challenge is this weekend for the Flathead Youth Home.
This features running, paddling and peddling. They describe the race perfectly: The race begins in Whitefish, Montana and between the start and finish line, racers will have biked, paddled and run over 40 miles of beautiful Montana terrain.
Racers may enter as individuals, partners and teams up to 7 members for the Glacier Challenge. It really is an easy event for all to be involved. I will be there again!
They are giving away 6 Whitefish Mountain 2017/2018 ski passes! You can still register too.
This is the major fundraiser for a Youth Home here in Montana. Since 1975 they have helped over 1,600 youth in need of a caring home and atmosphere. Hannah is the lady who spearheads this thing and she is such a kind and caring woman, and it really shows with this event.
Pre-race insert meeting at 6:30 am, but there are plenty of places and new places to stay in Whitefish or the Flathead. Make it a fun road-trip weekend.
