Please do not send your kids early, there is not enough supervision at the schools as teachers and staff are also attempting to get through this snow.

NO SCHOOL for Charlo, Arlee and Stevensville, all MCPS, Lone Rock, Corvallis, Hamilton, Frenchtown

Missoula Police are urging residents who live on side streets and secondary roads to not attempt to drive unless you have 4 wheel drive or tire chains. Corporal Cami Fiscus says those with 2 wheel drive will not be able to drive through the heavy snow until your street has been plowed.

Kevin Hauge from the MDT reports Evaro Hill is snow packed and icy and that you can dial 511 for further road reports.

Chains are now required for all towing units on Lookout Pass due to heavy snowfall and snow packed and icy road conditions.

A winter storm warning is in effect for Western Montana, expect up to 6 more inches of snow over the next 24 hours. High of 33 today for Missoula, tomorrow calls for snow & rain with a high around 40.
