The administrator of a Missoula mental health center says an employee who was fired for telling police about a client's possible viewing of child pornography declined an offer to return to work.

Three Rivers Mental Health Solutions fired Michelle Lewis after she reported a client might be a danger to two young girls he babysat after she saw him searching for child pornography on a computer at his house. Center officials told her she did not have enough information to make the report.

Lewis says she was right to go to police. John Gribble is charged with child sex abuse.

Administrator Shea Hennelly said on Wednesday that the center offered Lewis her job back, with back pay for the time she has missed. Hennelly says Lewis' attorney declined the offer.
