The Ravalli County Attorney's Office has revised the date for a coroners inquest into a fatal officer involved shooting from December 8 to December 15.

Ravalli County Attorney Bill Fulbright said scheduling conflicts with some witnesses have been resolved.

"That has been cleared up, and we've rescheduled the inquest for December 15th at 9 a.m. on this coroners inquest," Fulbright said. "We had some conflicts with some witnesses that we thought were important for the coroners jury to hear from, and we did everything we could to accommodate them, so that they can get the best information possible."

Fulbright detailed the facts of the officer involved shooting.

"The subject of the inquest will the officer-involved shooting that occurred on March 6th at 808 Cut Lane in Hamilton," Fulbright said. "The officer involved is Ravalli County Sheriff's Deputy Tod Wofford and the deceased is 47 year-old Lonnie Gene Roberts. The Montana Department of Justice's Division of Criminal Investigation conducted the investigation."

Fulbright said Powell County Coroner John Pohle will preside over the inquest.
