Athletes from Rocky Mountain College and Montana State-Northern have been named Frontier Conference basketball players of the week.

Rocky sophomore forward Joel Barndt was named men's player of the week for averaging 19 points and 11 rebounds against Biola University and Minot State University during the Westminster Christmas tournament. The Bears defeated Minot State 64-62 but lost to Biola 61-60.

Laramie Schwenke received the women's honor for her role in MSU-Northern's wins against Hope International University and Minot State at the Duck Inn Classic. The senior guard averaged 16 points and seven rebounds, and was named MVP of the tournament.

Northern beat Hope International 62-57 and Minot State 69-61.
