Fugitive At Large..Schools Locked Down [AUDIO]

A fugitive suspected of car theft is still at large in the Briggs and Gharrett area. Police have cordoned off certain cross streets and locked down both Meadow Hill and Cold Springs Schools. The white male suspect fled on foot after being stopped just after 8 o'clock this morning in the Wal-Mart parking lot into the neighborhood east of the store. Sergeant Travis Welsh says the man is in his 30's, thin, with possible piercings..he is wearing a yellow sweatshirt with 'Oregon' on the front. If you see this man, call Crimestoppers at 721-44-44.
