A recent MSN Travel article encouraged readers to visit 21 small towns while on their next North American road trip. One Montana town made that list, and it's safe to say that although I've lived in the state for 13 years, I've never heard of this place.

In contention with Lititz, Pennsylvania and New Castle, Delware, MSN.com says Cascade, Montana is one small town you have to make sure you visit on your next cross-country road trip.

The scenic Cascade, MT, is a mandatory stop for nature-lovers. This town describes itself as a small farming and ranching community located at the mouth of the Missouri River Canyon. The views of the wildlife here are absolutely gorgeous.
