The Missoula County Coroner's Office has released the name of the teenager who died from injuries sustained in a one-vehicle crash near Blue Mountain Road on Wednesday evening.

15 year-old Arthur 'Abe' Lowder was pronounced dead Thursday at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula. His twin sister sustained non life-threatening injuries and is expected to make a full recovery. She attends Valley Christian School.

Spokeswoman for Missoula County Public Schools Hatton Littman told KGVO News that Abe Lowder had recently transferred from Valley Christian to Big Sky High School, and that the school has made grief counselors available to any student who may desire one.

"We certainly want to say first and foremost in the instance that we do have the death of a student, our thoughts and support go out to the family and the friends of that student." Littman said. "We also make sure that we provide the support necessary for the staff and the students at the school, or in any other school that knew the individual. "Our standard procedure is to provide rooms and areas of support for the student, the staff and the school. We add additional counselors from other high schools when necessary, as well as looking out for resources in the community, such as Tamarack Grief Resources to provide support in the school as well."
