With the record-setting snow event Montana experienced last week, all eyes have been on City and County snow plows, watching and waiting as they cleared our streets. But imagine if the union that represents those drivers authorized a strike. That's exactly what happened, even though drivers continued to serve during the record snow event. I spoke with Secretary-Treasurer of Teamsters Union Local 2 Daniel Doogan about the fact that state employees have not had a raise for almost 4 years. That interview is attached.

Doogan says the union has not ruled out a strike action if the area receives another dose of heavy snow. He encourages our readers and listeners to contact their legislators and urge them to vote for a raise for all state employees.
