Incredible Montana Marine Set to Perform Recital in Bozeman
A warrior poet. Or, shall we say- a warrior pianist.
For those of you who have not had the honor of meeting retired Marine Corps Colonel Eric Hastings in Bozeman, Montana- he is a remarkable man, full of wisdom. Many of you know Colonel Hastings as the founder of Warriors & Quiet Waters (WQW). You might even know that he flew 168 combat missions in Vietnam. During Desert Storm, he was the Chief of Staff to all US Marine forces.
But did you know THIS about Colonel Eric Hastings?
Check out this note that I received from Emily Sather with Warriors & Quiet Waters:
Emily Sather: Did you know that after retiring from the Marine Corps, Eric spent four years in New York City earning an MFA in classical piano performance? This man is full of surprises (and inspiration)!
There is a special event coming up on January 11th in Bozeman- a classical piano concert benefiting WQW by Colonel Eric Hastings.
Emily Sather: He has been practicing for four hours a day for the past year and a half in preparation for his recital. Approximately 100 tickets are available at a pay-what-you-can ticket price. Virtual tickets are available as well.
