Jane’s Addiction Pushes Back Release Date for New Album, ‘The Great Escape Artist’

Jane’s Addiction have pushed back the release of their upcoming album, ‘The Great Escape Artist,’ from Sept. 27 to Oct. 4. In the meantime, a remix contest involving the disc’s first official single, ‘Irresistible Force’ is coming to an end.

Fans interested in entering the contest should click here for a chance to nab the $1,000 prize. But hurry, the contest ends Thursday (Aug. 25). According to a press release, fans can “remix ‘Irresistible Force’ by downloading the track’s audio stems, and uploading their unique remix submissions to the Jane’s Addiction contest page. Fans will also be able to vote on their favorite submissions through the contest page, and through the official Jane’s Addiction Facebook page.”
