Look, I get it. There's nothing more important in a teenager's life than socializing with friends. The advancement of cell phone technology has made accomplishing that even easier.

But sometimes that technology comes with a price. Now, I could throw a bunch of statistics at you that illustrate my point, but it wasn't too long ago that I was a teen. I used to text and drive all the time, but I made a pledge to stop. In fact, I try to not even talk on my phone while I'm driving.

I have a younger brother who three weeks ago received his drivers license. I know that he is constantly texting someone about something. I need to set a positive example for him and all teens in our community. And you should, too. To sign the pledge and get a cool thumb band (like the one above), come on down to the station.
