Missoula Authorities Report A Quiet New Year’s Eve
In conversations with officials from both the Missoula Police Department and Missoula County Sheriff's Office, KGVO News was told that the New Year's Eve celebration was, for the most part, quiet and well-behaved.
Jace Dicken with the sheriff's office reported only one DUI arrest with an associated charge related to possession of drug paraphernalia, while Sergeant Rick Stevenson with the police department said the night was uneventful..
Both officers said there were lots of people celebrating, especially with the First Night activities, but, there were no problems reported. Both indicated their relief that the New Year's celebration was quiet.
