Missoula Woman Stabbed During Brutal Home Invasion
A Missoula woman was robbed and then stabbed repeatedly during a home invasion that occurred early Sunday morning.
Corporal Bob Campbell with the Missoula Police Department said the call came in to 9-1-1 a little after 1:30 a.m.
"Missoula police responded to a call in the 1300 block of Montana Street for a report of a stabbing that took place there," Campbell said. "This occurred at about 1:40 a.m. The victim was stabbed in the face, chest, abdomen and legs, and was transported to St. Patrick Hospital where she is still receiving treatment."
Campbell said the suspects are still at large.
"The suspects involve a man and a woman," he said. "Both at the time were wearing masks. The detective division will be following up with their investigation. At this point they know that an undetermined amount of money and other objects that were stolen from the residence at the time of the assault."
Campbell asks anyone who may have information about the male and female suspects, who must be considered armed and dangerous, to contact the Missoula Police Department at 552-6300.
