Gas prices keep climbing in Montana, here's what to look for in the week ahead.

"Montana prices have slowly continued to increase here averaging about $3.35 a gallon," said Gas Buddy petroleum analyst Patrick Dehan. "The direction has continued to be slightly upward I would expect perhaps the same situation to unfold in the week ahead."

The lowest prices in Montana can be found in Billings where the average price is $3.32, but where competition has driven the price down to $3.15.

The national average is 3.64 per gallon, a full 22 cents lower than last year. According DeHaan, Montana should expect to see another week of slowly climbing prices at the pump.
