Propane Truck Crash Kills One, Closes Reserve Street

A young woman is dead after crashing head-on into a propane truck this morning at about 5 am. The crash near Reserve and River Road, sent both vehicles over the side of the road into a field where the truck overturned on top of the other vehicle. Law enforcement and fire personnel evacuated several homes in the area, and Reserve Street remains closed from Mullan Road to 3rd Street at the time of this posting. I spoke to Missoula City Assistant Fire Marshall Dax Frazier about the incident. The interview is attached.

Frazier says the driver of the propane truck was treated and released and the

victim's name has not been released.
