Suspect Wanted by Missoula Authorities Captured in Yellowstone County

Update March 8: The Missoula County Sheriff's Department has reported that Roe has been found and is currently in custody in Yellowstone County. It is still unclear on what charges Roe was picked up and whether or not he is associated with other crimes in Missoula.

The Missoula County Sheriff's Department is asking for the public's help in locating 26-year-old Shawn Roe.

Roe is wanted on a $10,000 warrant for failing to register on the sexual or violent offender registry.

"Shawn is a white mail, six foot tall, 160 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes," explained Missoula County Sheriff's department public information officer Jason Johnson. "The reason he's on the violent or sexual offender registry is that in 2009 he threatened a female during a shoplifting case and was physically fighting with employees as well. This all took place at a local Albertson's store."

Johnson also inferred that Roe was wanted on suspicion for other cases currently under investigation.
