Another Missoula event that you should put on your calendar, the 2016 Capstone Dinner put on by the Missoula College Culinary Arts students. It will take place Saturday, April 30th, at the Missoula College located at 909 South Avenue in Missoula. The event is open to everyone, with a reception at 5pm, and dinner starting at 6pm.

The menu is based on a particular region of France and is titled, “Voilá: a Culinary Journey of Coastal Mediterranean France.” Some of the dinner items offered will be fresh shucked oysters, terrines, canapes, salade nicoise and roasted guineafowl with ratatouille. The dessert will be an interpretation of the classic napoleon. Each course will be paired with a delicious wine. There will also be live music by Doctor Doctor, and a live and a silent auction. Proceeds from the dinner will help strengthen the Culinary Arts program at Missoula College.

The students are still searching for more auction items and monetary donations, if your interested in helping contact Susan Graham at 406-243-7870. For more information on the dinner or about the Culinary Arts program, visit their Facebook page by clicking here.
