The Hamilton Police Department has declared a "snow emergency" to try to clear the snow routes in Hamilton. The Bitterroot Valley has been hit by continual snowfall since Sunday, which on Monday afternoon is at least a foot deep (and deeper) in the Hamilton-Corvallis area. Drivers are also urged by law enforcement to stay off the roads if at all possible until conditions improve. That could take a few days.

The Snow Emergency requires parked cars to be moved off the snow routes. They are listed below:

  • Fairgrounds Road
  • State Street
  • Pine Street
  • North 10th St
  • South 9th Street
  • Ravalli Street
