New Year's Eve 2021 falls on a Friday night this year and the world has never been more excited for a New Year's Eve. Except maybe when we rang in the year 2000, but that was more paranoia than excitement. Remember, a lot of people stocked up on water and supplies and anticipated planes falling from the sky and missiles being launched by mistake? Lots of unnecessary weirdness and worry as we closed out 1999. Not the case this year, we are all in celebratory mode as we are able to gather with friends and strangers alike to ring in 2022, which is a very different scenario from last December 31st.
