The Western Montana Fish and Game Association would like to invite everyone to a free and fun event.

The 4th annual Youth Shooting Sports and Outdoor Expo will be held on Sunday, May 22, 10:00 am – 2:00 pm, at the Deer Creek Shooting Range, 6238 Shooting Center Lane in Missoula. This is going to be a great way to try out some new gear, get some valuable instruction, and have lots of fun.

This is a totally free event. Activities will not only include an opportunity to try pistols, rifles, air guns and archery gear, but also a large number of other topics, like firearm safety, fly casting and bear identification. And all of the  the equipment, including ear and eye protection and ammo, is provided.

The Western Montana Fish and Game Association will also be holding prize drawings.  This is a family event and free for everyone.

The Western Montana Fish and Game Association is a membership based organization that privately owns and operates the Deer Creek Shooting Center. One of the most well developed outdoor shooting facilities in the Northwest. To become a member, applicants must be eligible to purchase a Montana hunting license. Local sporting goods store have application forms. You can also fill out an application and send the completed forms and fees to the membership chairman for access in about two weeks. The Deer Creek Shooting Center entrance gate is located off of Deer Creek Road, just outside of East Missoula near that road's railroad crossing.
