Have You Seen This Man?

Recently, KGVO reported on two burglaries that took place at Melotz Trucking and Northwest Tower on Summit Drive west of Missoula. The Missoula County Sheriff’s Department is happy to announce that through diligent detective work a suspect has been identified.

MCSO detectives discovered that Brent Ray Nelson had pawned some of the missing items from these burglaries at a pawn shop in Bozeman. Nelson may have also pawned items in Missoula that he had stolen from Cascade County. A warrant from Missoula County is under review and forthcoming but Nelson has an active, no bond warrant from Powell County for Larceny and a $10,000 warrant out of Lewis & Clark County for Burglary. Please look at the attached photo. We are asking the public to call 9-1-1 if they know the immediate whereabouts of Mr. Nelson.
