The International Choral Festival is in search of volunteers wanting to host different choir members this summer. Housing Chair Janet Palmer said singers and choirs will be coming to Missoula from all over the world, but need a place to stay.

"We offer them free room and board basically," Palmer said. "We put two singers minimum in each house, so we're looking for host families who will be available to not only provide a warm, friendly safe space for them, but can also drive them to the different events."

Palmer said guests will be flying in from Costa Rica, Cuba, Estonia, Hong Kong, Kenya, the Philippines, Poland, the Republic of Georgia and Zimbabwe, just to name a few.

"We often have neighbors host together. Sometimes one person might have the room and the other person might have the time and the vehicle to drive people around. So you can do that," Palmer said. "You can sign up online and just put in a note saying that you're going to host with another person so you can share the duties."

The festival will be in Missoula from July 13-16. To learn more or apply, click here.
