Montana in the Top 20 for Lowest Property Taxes in the Country
We all know it can be expensive to live and owning a home is an added expense with propriety taxes included. Where does Montana stand overall with property taxes?
Where are we on the high end or the low end of top 20? Well we are on the low end right at 20 and tied with Kentucky. WalletHub just did a study on the property taxes for each state. 0.85% is Montana's tax rate. To put that in perspective New Jersey is over 2.0%. We are doing OK compared. No denying this state is becoming very popular.
